United We Stand

Expediency is not a solution. It is vital that we all do our best to protect our country and ourselves not only from terrorists but also from those who would set aside portions of the constitution to achieve a personal or political agenda Let us not be frightened into giving up our freedom in order to protect ourself from the wims of terrorists.

While government may find it convenient to regulate, dominate and invade the privacy of many citizens in an effort to minimize the effects of a few misanthropes, it is essential that we all, including those serving in our government: "the government of the people, by the people and for the people," be vigilant and protect the rights and freedom for which so many have fought and died.

If you feel that Congress is going or may go too far in abridging the rights of the citizens, then act now.

Let your leaders and representatives know how you feel.

Remind yourself of the price they paid.

If the people are silent, they may very well may be silenced forever.

Take time to examine the documents upon which our nation is founded and the implementation through which our government is empowered. These documents are linked on the commentary page.

God Bless America
